Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at an Advanced Primary Care practice in Tucson, AZ. As a key contributor to our care team, you will deliver exceptional patient care experiences and support our commitment to excellence.


This role requires strong interpersonal skills, electronic medical records experience, and a customer service orientation. You will establish a strong rapport with patients, prepare them for their visit, and assist providers with medical treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care experiences
  • Prepare patients for their visit and complete updates to patient records
  • Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and ensure clean instruments are available
  • Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Medical assistant certification or completed an accredited medical assistant certification program
  • Phlebotomy certification or obtain one within six months of hire
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card
