Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Carpintero to join our team at Double L Management. As a Carpenter / Carpintero, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance of buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the materials and tools required for a project.
  • Assist with Structural Design and Planning: Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation of building components.
  • Conduct Repair Work and Installation: Conduct repair work and installation of exterior assemblies, vapor barrier, insulation, doors, drywall, acoustical grid, ceilings, and other fixtures as required.
  • Operate Tools and Equipment: Operate tools, machines, and other equipment to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and lifting.
  • Comply with Building Codes and Regulations: Comply with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stand for Prolonged Periods and Lift Heavy Objects: Stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to Work at Heights: Must be able to climb ladders up to 18 feet in height.
  • Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to Work a 40-Hour Week: Must be able to work a 40-hour week schedule.
