About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PAE Consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multi-discipline engineering projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets and develop project workplans, tasks, and assignments
  • Develop the ability to anticipate and control project workflow
  • Track and measure performance against goals
  • Lead project teams and provide training, guidance, and development for staff
  • Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection
  • Review opinions of probable construction costs
  • Assemble effective project teams and provide updates to master specifications and standards
  • Develop client relationships and participate on firm leadership committees
  • Oversee the application of the project quality management plan (QMP)
  • May be responsible as the Engineer of Record (EOR)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering for discipline work
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
  • LEED accreditation
  • Minimum 6-10 years' related work in the AEC/built environment required
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate design options
  • Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and mechanical industry standards
  • Ability to serve as a technical resource for the company
  • Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
  • Strong delegation skills and experience running and assembling teams
  • Demonstrate commitment to PAE
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Limited AutoCAD/Revit and Easy Power
What We Offer
  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $106,500 - $146,000 annual + Signing Bonus
  • This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay
