We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Quality Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality care by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and Liberty HomeCare's policies and procedures.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to Liberty HomeCare's policies.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Assist physicians with rounds as needed and provide support during physical examinations and treatments.
- Treatment and Documentation: Perform scheduled treatments and document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Infection Control: Maintain infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research related to quality nursing care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Record Keeping and Scheduling: Assist with record keeping, ordering, and assessment of new admissions, as well as scheduling patients' annual physicals with attending physicians.
- Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, and current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Certifications and Training: CPR certified yearly and ability to attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to supervise nursing assistants, work well with all nursing personnel, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Ability to make decisions regarding nursing problems and take responsibility for errors and incompetence.
