Job Summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in the care and preparation of surgical patients.
  • Perform scrub duties and related procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance of all supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Surgical Technologist registration in Washington State.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
  • Knowledge and training to care for the specific age group under their care.
  • Able to demonstrate or acquire skills to complete surgical technologist skills checklist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification.
  • 1 year as an Operating Room Technician.
