About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to support our graphic novel publishing team. As an Editorial Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative tasks, project management, and editorial support. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the publishing industry and work with a passionate team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including paperwork and database tasks
  • Support communications with internal and external stakeholders, including authors, agents, and other contacts
  • Assist with reviewing submissions and drafting copy for covers and catalogs
  • Conduct book-market research and provide reports
  • Coordinate contract review and implementation

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with copyediting and the Chicago Manual of Style preferred
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Quick learner with proficiency in standard office software
  • Basic knowledge of the current graphic novel landscape

Compensation and Benefits:
