Responsibilities:
  • Perform and manage traffic and transportation projects, including detailed traffic analysis, traffic signal design, and traffic modeling and simulation.
  • Lead technical design efforts on concurrent projects, ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Review and prepare traffic-related contract documents, providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior staff to enhance their knowledge and advance their career development.
  • Attend and present at client and public meetings, providing clear and concise information about project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 10 years of related engineering experience in traffic.
  • Connecticut/Massachusetts Professional Engineer license required.
  • Working knowledge of CTDOT/MASSDOT requirements and standards.
  • Proficiency with traffic analysis and modeling software.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
