We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiology services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and radiation therapy treatments
- Utilize fluoroscopy with the C-arm to provide radiology services
- Assist consulting radiologists, administrators, and clinical directors in maintaining compliance for the radiology program
- Manage inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels
- Ensure proper warning signs are posted in areas where fluoroscopy is used
- Assist in maintaining results of radiology exposure badges, fluoroscopy equipment, and preventive maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technologist program
- Certified as radiology technician (AART)
- CPR certification
- Operating Room or Pain Procedure experience
- ASC experience
- Effectively organize time, equipment, and supplies
- Use equipment accurately
- Provide comfort and reassurance to patients and promote privacy and dignity
- Confirm proper radiology techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
- Assist in managing inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels
- Utilize appropriate shielding devices and techniques for patients, physicians, and staff in areas where fluoroscopy is used
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturer's instructions or instructions for use
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and the general public
