Job Summary

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of radiographic procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging techniques as prescribed by physicians.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Adjust imaging equipment settings and techniques based on the type of procedure and patient condition.
Patient Care and Safety:
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their understanding.
  • Monitor and protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure by following safety protocols and using protective equipment.
  • Provide appropriate care and support to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and performing routine quality control checks.
  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of imaging films and digital images.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and support throughout the imaging process.
  • Document and report imaging results, including any abnormalities or issues detected during procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent is required.
  • New Jersey state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
