Part Time Medication Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part Time Medication Nurse to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a Medication Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective medication management services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to patients under the direction of the Medical Director or Registered Nurse
- Conduct daily medication counts and maintain accurate records
- Ensure proper disposal of medical waste
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the state of Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient contact experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products
