About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Diploma in Surgical Technology preferred
  • At least one year of experience in an operating room setting; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
