Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy treatment procedures, modalities, and occupational training to patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatment procedures, modalities, and occupational training to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Confer with the supervising Occupational Therapist to discuss patient goals, plans of treatment, and treatment procedures.
- Observe, record, and report patient reactions to treatment and any changes in patient condition.
- Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team and other healthcare personnel to provide a collaborative therapeutic approach.
- Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Washington.
- Minimum one year of experience in adult rehabilitative services preferred.
