Vascular Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality non-invasive vascular exams, including duplex exams, pressure measurements, and carotid exams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of vascular exams, including lower and upper extremity venous and arterial duplex exams, carotid duplex exams, and visceral duplex exams.
- Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety, mental, and physical comfort during exams.
- Maintain accurate and timely exam records, including preliminary findings linked to the order.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Registered Vascular Technologist with ARDMS certification.
- Two years of experience in ultrasound, specifically vascular sonography.
- Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
