Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Therapist at North Shore Pediatric Therapy. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in creating positive experiences for autistic children and helping them build essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with children, following a therapy plan from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Help children build essential skills and replace obstructive behaviors with constructive ones
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Physical Therapists, and Neuropsychologists

Requirements:

  • Prior childcare experience, especially with kids with developmental needs, or caretaking experience, such as a nurse or aide
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Physical demands: sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 45lbs pounds
