Physician - Primary Care Specialist

Access Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our team. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to our patients in a collaborative effort with all care team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform, order, interpret, and analyze patient histories, medical records, and various medical reports to diagnose patients' conditions and choose treatment options.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in compliance with medical standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information within the electronic medical record.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Advise patients concerning diet, activity, and hygiene and disease prevention.
- Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
- Licensed Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic in Wisconsin or eligible for license in Wisconsin.
- Board certified (or board eligible) in Family Practice with or without Obstetrics.
- Insurable for liability coverage as a physician.
- Evidence of continuing education, as required.
- Experience with supervising, motivating, and directing medical staff.
- Experience working with mid-level providers.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations or working within a community health center.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficient and organized.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong patient/customer service skills.
- Problem-solving skills individually and in a group setting.

- Ability to supervise, motivate, and direct professional staff.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team.
- Proven relational competence to work on a team with mutual respect for all team members.
- Skills to provide quality care based on the shared goals of the care team.
