Job Title: Physician

Access Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our team. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to our patients in a collaborative effort with all care team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform, order, interpret, and analyze patient histories, medical records, and various medical reports to diagnose patients' conditions and choose treatment options.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in compliance with medical standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information within the electronic medical record.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Advise patients concerning diet, activity, and hygiene and disease prevention.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic in Wisconsin or eligible for license in Wisconsin.
  • Board certified (or board eligible) in Family Practice with or without Obstetrics.
  • Insurable for liability coverage as a physician.
  • Evidence of continuing education, as required.
  • Experience with supervising, motivating, and directing medical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with mid-level providers.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations or working within a community health center.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and direct professional staff.

  • Proven relational competence to work on a team with mutual respect for all team members.
  • Skills to provide quality care based on the shared goals of the care team.
