Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician (Family Practice) to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to infants, children, youth, and adults, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, from minor illnesses to complex diseases, using evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.
  • At least one year of supervised experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting, such as an internship or residency program.
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Family Practice or equivalent experience and training.
