Job Summary:The Maternal and Child Specialist, Ob/Gyn will provide competent, age-specific health care to women and children in the Regional Maternal and Child Health care program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary health care to patients and families throughout the course of care.
- Use assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide care that integrates psychosocial and physical needs of patients and families.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and provide appropriate health education and counseling in response to patient needs.
- Contribute to the advancement of their profession, seek to ensure high-quality care within the RMCHP, and demonstrate leadership skills in achieving improved outcomes for all clients and their families.
- Responsible for the health care provided and will utilize age-specific developmental principles when providing care.
- Masters Degree and Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
