Job Description

Job Summary:

Morgan Engineering Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining our industrial overhead cranes at customer sites across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, wire, and commission Morgan industrial overhead cranes at customer sites across the U.S.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on overhead cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect mechanical and electrical systems on overhead cranes to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Work safely and efficiently at heights of up to 100 feet.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in a related industry.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use metrological instruments such as micrometers.
  • Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Skills in one or more of the following areas preferred:
  1. Millwright work.
  2. Iron work.
  3. Pipefitting.
  4. Electrical meters.
  5. Basic machining.
  6. Basic welding.
  7. Basic rigging.
