Job Overview

Art of the Yard LLC, a premier water feature design and maintenance company, is seeking a dedicated Water Feature Maintenance Specialist to join our team. Our company has been recognized for excellence in the industry, having received multiple awards for our craftsmanship and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service requests from clients and address any concerns promptly.
  • Inspect water features for potential leaks and perform necessary repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on ponds, water features, and pondless systems at various client sites.
  • Administer appropriate water treatments to ensure optimal health of aquatic environments.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of water features, including deep cleaning of ponds and pondless systems.
  • Utilize power washing equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of Koi fish at client locations.
  • Safely relocate fish to a holding area during maintenance and return them post-cleaning.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, office staff, and management.
  • Drive responsibly between job sites.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment such as skimmers, pumps, and filters, with opportunities for upselling.
  • Prepare water features for seasonal changes, including spring startups and fall shutdowns.
  • Participate in construction projects during downtime or cancellations.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work for emergencies or weather-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in water feature maintenance is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

This is a full-time, year-round position with potential for overtime. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and a 401K plan is available after meeting eligibility requirements.
