Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team at Denios-US. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs and solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new products and solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer needs and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure successful implementation of designs
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications
  • Utilize CAM software to create program files for the fabrication process
  • Perform feasibility studies to evaluate the design concepts and identify potential challenges
  • Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria
  • Identify opportunities for design improvements and develop solutions to enhance product performance and functionality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field
  • In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of relevant experience may suffice
  • Proven experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
  • Proficient in CAD software and other design tools (Solidworks preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of sheet metal design preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
