Job SummaryBresco Broadband is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Perform network upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and implement network security protocols and policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Level 1 Network Engineers and other IT staff.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and performance analysis to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve network issues and implement new technologies.
  • Maintain detailed network documentation and keep it up-to-date.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in an ISP environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and Routing Protocols.
  • Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and/or Fortinet.
  • Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or equivalent are highly desirable.
