Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with excellent customer service skills to join our team of computer systems engineers at Karls Technology. This role is a mixture of computer hardware and desktop support, requiring a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, build, troubleshoot, service, and repair desktops and laptops, as well as network equipment such as routers, switches, cables, and related network hardware.
  • Instruct users in the use of personal computers and networks.
  • Install, set up, and troubleshoot computer peripherals such as headphones, keyboards, mice, speakers, and monitors.
  • Assist in connecting new devices to a client's network, including video doorbells, gaming consoles, smart TVs, and home security systems.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot mobile OS and apps on mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and tablets.

Requirements:

  • Possess a current CompTIA A+ Certification or be able to attain it within 90 days from start date.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, maintain valid insurance, have a good driving record, and be willing to drive up to 100 miles per day to work orders.
  • Possess the ability to lift products up to 50lbs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment, including being on-time for work, taking detailed technical notes of all work performed, and being responsive to communication from other team members.
  • Multitask while upholding quality and integrity of work.
  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule which can include Saturdays.
