Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our Respiratory Therapy team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct patient care, including cleaning and setting up equipment, monitoring low-flow oxygen, and performing aerosol therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with the Respiratory Therapy team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Respiratory Therapy student, completed first year and in second year.
  • CPR credentialed.
  • In good standing to complete Associate's degree in Respiratory Care within nine months.
  • Interaction with patient population of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
