As the Manager of Surgical Services Coordination, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the patient journey through the perioperative services, ensuring a seamless experience from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate patient movement across perioperative service areas, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a clinical expert, providing solutions to challenges and supporting staff with patient-related concerns.
  • Enhance staff proficiency in delivering high-quality nursing care through targeted development initiatives.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize operations and resource utilization.
  • Lead unit-specific performance improvement projects, applying insights from outcomes to drive enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of shared leadership and personal accountability among team members.
  • Engage in the recruitment process, providing coaching and guidance to staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree with at least three years of leadership experience, or five years of relevant leadership experience, or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
