We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at LHC Group. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in their homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Instructing and aiding patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
  • Coordinating care with the other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
