Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and develop effective care plans
  • Provide and implement nursing interventions to promote patient well-being
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and make adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Teach patients and their families about mental health and wellness
  • Stay up-to-date with professional growth and competency
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Contribute to the productivity and cost-effectiveness of the hospital

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
  • No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Basic computer skills required for electronic medical records and communication
