Job Summary:
We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our team as a PRN (as needed) physician. This is a hospital-employed position that offers a competitive shift rate, productivity bonus, lodging stipend, free fitness center membership, and paid malpractice including tail coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Choose from two schedule options: full weekend or 8-hour day shift.
- On-site coverage required.
- 30-bed adult inpatient unit with an average daily census in the mid-20s, shared between 4 providers.
- Round on patients in the unit and provide hospital and ED consults.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of ABMS/AOA approved psychiatric residency program.
- Board Certification.
- Unrestricted NC medical license and NC DEA.
- Active BLS through AHA or ARC.
