Geoscientist - EG

The Geologist/Geomodeller - EG will be a key member of Apache's Geoscience team, responsible for identifying, characterizing, and maturing conventional oil and gas development/appraisal opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Develop and maintain 3D static geocellular models to support subsurface studies and field development plans.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined subsurface teams to integrate large datasets and provide volumetric assessments.
• Communicate and plan drill well proposals with Cairo staff, ensuring effective execution of field development plans.
• Provide recommendations on behind-pipe, infill, coiled tubing candidates, and new drill opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Geology or Geophysics, with a minimum of 7-12 years of industry experience, including 5 years of conventional development experience. Strong knowledge of related subsurface disciplines, seismic interpretation, and ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations are essential.

• Proficient to expert knowledge of Petrel.
• Geomodelling skills with focus on field development and volumetrics.

• Experience in fluvial and shallow marine environments.
