About the Role

Leidos is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to join our Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) Child and Youth Behavioral team. As a CYB-MFLC, you will provide non-medical support to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth at Hickam Elementary School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and outreach services to support the unique emotional and environmental challenges faced by military children.
  • Observe, participate, and engage in activities with youth and/or teens, providing coaching, guidance, and support to staff and parents.
  • Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning.
  • Build rapport with parents and families through community events and outreach.
  • Help with transition adjustments, such as a new school and a new home.
  • Participate in regular in-service training and other contract activities as assigned.
