We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Psychological Testing Coordinator to join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will play a vital role in coordinating psychological evaluations for clients referred by government agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process referrals from government agencies, including DCFS, DWS, DOH, JJS, and DSPD.
- Schedule testing appointments and obtain financial commitments from clients.
- Maintain detailed records of testing progress and materials used.
- Collaborate with psychologists and interns to ensure accurate and timely completion of evaluations.
- Assist in supervising and scoring assessments.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining inventory and coordinating with referring agencies.
- High school diploma or GED, plus one year of specialized records technician training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of experience performing above and related duties.
- Considerable knowledge of intake processes and procedures, program guidelines related to fee determination and assessments.
- Working knowledge of personal computer and various software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Telephone etiquette and federal and state statutes and guidelines, including HIPAA.
- Mental health and medical terminology, basic statistics, and mathematics.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the public.
- Accredited/certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
- SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- Competitive salary range of $18.49-$23.43 per hour.
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule.
