We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at PRISM Vision Group. Our Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a warm and friendly environment for our patients and staff.

As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures. You will also interact effectively with the surgical team, including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses, and other technicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and organizing the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Anticipating surgeon needs during procedures
  • Communicating and collaborating with the perioperative team to promote a safe surgical environment
  • Maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Performing various tasks on non-surgery days, including restocking, patient phone calls, and preparing for next-day surgery

Requirements for this role include:

  • Surgical Technician certification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Ability to work independently and hold yourself accountable for quality and sterility
  • Outstanding organizational ability
