Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Hospital Medicine Unit (H6), you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients in this 30-bed medical/surgical unit. This role requires delivering nursing care within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adhering to institutional policies, procedures, and standards.

You will be responsible for collecting and documenting assessment data, developing a Plan of Care, implementing POC, evaluating patient progress, providing patient/family education/discharge planning, administering medication, acting as a resource/supporting others, and delivering patient care using the principles of the defined nursing modality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to assigned patients
  • Collect and document assessment data
  • Develop and implement a Plan of Care
  • Evaluate patient progress
  • Administer medication
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid RN License, 1 year of Registered Nursing experience, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethics, and accountability.

Prior hospital med/surg experience, certification, and 2 years or more nursing experience with current BLS are preferred qualifications.
