UnityPoint Health is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to fill in for staff time off and increased case-load in our Fort Dodge location.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat speech therapy patients under physician orders in the acute, outpatient, home health care or skilled nursing facilities as assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans for all patients assigned to case load.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in the patients medical record.
  • Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the speech therapy department.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patients healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certified Clinical Competency Certification or completing Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Licensure: Speech Pathology licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa, Valid Iowa drivers license.
  • Experience: Entry level/new graduate acceptable.
  • Certification/Course: Maintain Basic Life Support certification.
