Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Coalville, IA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each student's specific needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to develop, review, and update student goals and progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication development.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Iowa.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
