Job Title: Skilled Master Plumber

About the Role:

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. As a Master Plumber, you will contribute to designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Read blueprints and design specifications to layout the plumbing system.
  • Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Supervise and train junior plumbers.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Requirements:

  • Valid master plumber's license.
  • Backflow certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing work, including management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and management skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
