Description
:We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support various major transit projects in Canada, including primarily regions in Markham, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required. Demonstrated written and verbal English communication skill proficiency effectively communicating complex engineering issues; Well organized, self-directed work habits with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule tasks managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm in design of HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection and process systems;Preferred requirements:
Registered as a P.Eng.; Provide valuable leadership to junior staff while move them toward developing their skills; Ideal candidate would have local experience in above mentioned markets with strong ties and background in the local market, Transit authorities and consulting community; Experience in mechanical/industrial systems in a transit maintenance facility:Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
