Job Summary

As a GMP Lab Specialist at Lancaster Laboratories, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our laboratory services. This position requires a strong scientific background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary inventory coordinator for major vaccine and biologics franchises
Perform second scientist and second person review as required
Train and operate as a key SME in Labware LIMS inventory systems
Ensure all work is compliant with regulatory expectations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Perform quarterly equipment and logbook review
Review equipment temperature data in OpenLab, DeltaV, or BAS PI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field with 2-3 years of experience, or Master's degree with 0-1 year experience
Strong scientific and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Project and MS Visio
Excellent communication and written skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects
Experience in classical biochemical assays and molecular biological techniques
GMP experience
Experience with regulatory audits
