Job Title: Senior Microbiologist - Quality Control

The Fountain Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team. This is a full-time position located in Worcester, MA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior Microbiologist to perform routine Environmental Monitoring testing within a GMP environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and experience working in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine Environmental Monitoring testing within a GMP environment.
  • Perform Environmental Monitoring (EM) during a fill operation.
  • Support other lab associated functions.
  • Perform test methods as written to support product/material release.
  • Effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques with minimal error.
  • Understand, implement, and maintain GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems.
  • Accept responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed.
  • Support investigation writers and approvers to gather data.
  • Trends data to support trend reports.
Requirements:
  • BS in Microbiology or related field.
  • Professional Environmental Monitoring (EM) experience.
  • QC Microbiology Skills (GMP, gram staining, bioburden/endotoxin...).
  • Aseptic Technique.
  • PREFERRED: Cleanroom, Aseptic Gowning, Pharma, USP/EP/JP/ICH/cGMP Guidelines.
Compensation:

$24-32 per hour depending on experience.
