We are currently in search of a Senior Estimator to enhance our team.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with developing precise cost estimates and preparing comprehensive estimating packages, focusing on quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, budget creation, subcontractor engagement, and competitive bid evaluations to support our projects.
The Estimator will leverage their expertise to provide innovative insights on current methodologies and will exercise sound judgment based on the evaluation of various information sources.

Key Responsibilities:
Integrate requirements from drawings, specifications, and terms into bids.
Conduct quantity takeoffs and verify takeoff summaries for precision.
Request pricing quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, managing the subcontractor database. Analyze quotes and provide data to support subcontractor selection.
Develop estimates under supervision, detailing both direct and indirect costs.
Assist in formulating project schedules with input from the project team and subcontractors.
Contribute to the preparation of review documents.
Qualifications:
Two to four years of experience in heavy civil project estimating
Proficient in computing and experienced with MS Office and relevant estimating software
Familiarity with BIM modeling is advantageous
Understanding of trade-related drawings and specifications, including the ability to assess their completeness
Knowledge of construction costs and budgets, with the capability to develop project schedules
Experience in negotiations and managing contractual risks, along with recommending mitigation strategies
Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
