  • Collaborate with the Controller and senior management to formulate the yearly operational and capital budgets.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Sales to conduct insightful analysis and reporting that fosters business expansion.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly financial presentations for the board by creating clear variance analyses and explanations.
  • Engage with the corporate controller's office to generate various flash reports during the monthly closing cycle.
  • Oversee the creation of monthly financial reports that detail performance against plans and forecasts.
  • Lead the development of monthly forecasts.
  • Conduct significant ad hoc analyses that promote business growth and enhance profitability.
  • Assist in reviewing Capital Expenditure projects to ensure proper justification, budgeting, and financial returns are provided.
  • Contribute to the consolidation of the annual strategic plan update.
  • Design new reporting templates and perform ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Maintain Account and Hyperion Essbase structures.
  • Expertise in PC applications, particularly Excel and Essbase, along with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, is essential.
Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • A high-energy individual with a strong eagerness to learn and a proactive approach is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while being detail-oriented is crucial.
  • Strong systems skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, are required.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion, or AS400 is advantageous; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels are important.
  • Results-driven, with a strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to identify process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
  • Leadership qualities and a desire to drive change are essential.
  • Comfort in interacting with all levels of management and staff is required.
  • Pursuing a Master's degree and/or professional certifications such as CPA or CMA is beneficial.
Educational Background

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
