Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments for speech and language therapy using appropriate methodologies
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and discharge summaries
  • Provide mentorship and training to clinical support staff, new hires, and students
  • Engage in departmental performance enhancement initiatives
  • Participate in the development and execution of clinical programs
  • Complete all required competencies in speech and language therapy
  • Meet established productivity standards
  • Utilize resources in accordance with departmental policies
  • Take responsibility for assigned tasks and perform additional duties as required
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (M.S., CCC-SLP)
  • Licensed Speech Pathologist in New Mexico
  • CPR Certification
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
  • Capability to adhere to instructions and established protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
