Electrical Maintenance Planner Role Overview

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our Tennessee Operations in Alcoa, TN.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and planning skills, with experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule electrical maintenance work in the South Ingot and Can Reclamation Departments, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Coordinate outages in the Ingot department, working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including data entry and ordering of supplies.
  • Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Utilize ORACLE eAM or equivalent to manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with safety, health, and environmental concerns, collaborating with the EHS team to ensure safe work plans and contractor approvals.
  • Support continuous improvement by entering production and maintenance data.
  • Assist with overtime management and backfill as Maintenance Supervisor when needed.
Requirements
  • High school education or GED.
  • 3+ years of planning and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including maintenance software and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and produce field sketches.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or BS degree in a technical field.
  • 5+ years of heavy industrial electrical troubleshooting maintenance experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of ORACLE eAM and Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling software.
