About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Assured Home Health & Hospice. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve patient well-being
  • Follow established plans of care and make recommendations for changes as needed
  • Perform physical therapy treatments and assist patients with active and passive exercises
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition
  • Coordinate care with healthcare team members and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy areas within scope
Requirements
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification to assist in physical therapy practice in state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable vehicle or public transportation
