Superior Environmental Services is a comprehensive open shop specialty service contractor specializing in the management of hazardous materials, including Asbestos Abatement, Mold & Water Damage Services, Lead Remediation, and PCB Removal.
We are seeking a dependable Environmental Hazard Remediation Technician. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe removal of asbestos, mold, lead, and other hazardous materials, alongside basic demolition and construction duties. You will be expected to follow company protocols and procedures related to remediation while ensuring effective job setup and quality assurance.
Work Locations: Various job sites across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Containment and cleanup of hazardous materials
- Biohazard cleanup in healthcare facilities
- Asbestos removal and abatement
- Mold remediation
- Lead abatement
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Asbestos worker license in the relevant states or the ability to obtain one.
- Previous experience in general labor is advantageous.
- Experience in construction or related fields, such as lead abatement or industrial cleaning, is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish and/or Portuguese) are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in, on, around, over, and under equipment and machinery.
- Capability to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (50 – 70+ lbs.).
- Willingness to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to wear and operate in personal protective equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites is necessary.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Demonstrated responsibility and punctuality.
