Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team at Guggenheimer Health & Rehab Center. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Assist in the management of dietary functions, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving supplies.
- Collaborate with the Dietary Service Supervisor and other team members to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with special diets and nutritional requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including food production, inventory, and quality control.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; culinary experience preferred.
- Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of foods in larger quantities.
- Knowledge of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times, and temperature controls.
- Skilled in estimating food quantities, minimizing waste, and creating appetizing meals.
