Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient Mechanic with expertise in small engine repair to enhance our operations at Green Thumb Lawn & Garden. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid mechanical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on various small engine equipment, including both 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems utilizing schematics and diagnostic instruments.
  • Perform routine inspections to detect potential issues.
  • Utilize hand tools and welding equipment effectively for repair tasks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects and perform demanding tasks.
  • Strong mechanical skills with a focus on equipment repair.
  • Experience with generator repairs is advantageous.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset is crucial.
