Job Summary

The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Maha Fluid Power Center. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of the Maha Fluid Power Research Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the Maha Center, working directly with faculty, students, staff, and industry partners.
  • Manage the Maha Center's digital presence, including websites, social media channels, and online communication platforms to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of Maha Center announcements and other materials to industry members and the media.
  • Maintain organized records, coordinate schedules, facilitate communication, and assist in various administrative tasks within the center activities and events.
  • Event/visitation logistics and on-site management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs.
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions.
  • Drafting, proofreading, and editing skills.
