About Us:
Cennox is a leading provider of commercial construction and renovation services for financial institutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in the Los Angeles/Inland Empire area.

Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:
  • Project Management:

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing commercial renovation projects from conception to completion. This includes taking site surveys, budgeting and proposals, client negotiations, subcontractor onboarding and management, project scheduling, and close-out.

You will also determine and define the scope of work and deliverables, forecast resources needed to complete the project, obtain necessary permits and approvals, draft and submit budgets, manage costs to meet budget, provide direction over contracts and subcontracts, and ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

Additionally, you will manage construction schedules and activities with onsite superintendents, issue progress updates as needed, and coordinate efforts across entire projects between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years minimum in construction project management
  • Commercial Interior Experience: Wall finishes, painting, flooring, millwork, electrical, saw cuts
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred but not required
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office products and ability to learn specialized construction software programs
