Key Responsibilities

As a Food Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing food samples for various physical and sensory attributes. You will use equipment such as scales, calipers, viscometers, and colorimeters to evaluate the physical quality of food products.

You will also be responsible for setting up your workstation for testing, tracking samples, and maintaining accurate data records within Excel, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and RedJade sensory software.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer operation skills. You will also need to have a basic knowledge of scientific principles and laboratory procedures.
