Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2+ years of experience in Critical Care or Cardiovascular ICU.
- NIHSS competency and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system.
- Neurosurgical/Neuro-interventional recovery skills.
- Cardiovascular Intensive care nursing experience.
